-Keep your tattoo bandaged for 12-24 hours after -Use fragrance-free, antibacterial soap to wash the area with lukewarm water and pat it dry with a clean paper towel -After cleaning your tattoo, using a moisturizer is a crucial step in tattoo aftercare. Keeping the area softened will protect it from cracking, drying, and bleeding. Use a moisture-sealing product two to three times daily (every eight to 10 hours) until the scabs have fully healed. -When moisturizing your tattoo use a THIN layer, so as not to suffocate the tattoo -Avoid getting in a pool or submerging your new tattoo for at least 2 weeks -Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight for the first two to four weeks. Your fresh wound makes your skin extra sensitive to UV rays, so no tanning! -Avoid tight clothes around the area while your tattoo is healing
